There is new information about Miss USA Tara Conner. The Kentucky native is now out of rehab and talking about her recovery.

Fresh out of a 31 day stint in rehab, Conner says she s made some realizations.

First off she now admits she is an alcoholic. She made the admission to People Magazine in an issue that will be on stands later this week.

At a news conference in December, Conner said, "anything with a drug issue, things of that nature I don t have a comment on anything like that."

Now Conner is talking about her drug use. She told People Magazine she has dabbled in cocaine. She admits to People that she was the type of person that would try anything once, but said her biggest vice was alcohol.

Conner tells the magazine she craved it , but continues to dispell rumors that she was getting sloppy drunk during her reign and dancing on table tops.

Conner says her problems with alcoholism didn’t develop overnight, but she is hoping for a new beginning and a fresh start to make her hometown of Russell Springs and the country proud.

Conner who admits once being a party girl and always needing friends around now says she s taken up the company of books and is staying home a lot more. She now lives with a chaperone from the Miss USA pageant at her New York City apartment.
