Final touches on 'First Alert Defender'

Great weather in Central Kentucky over the past two days, is a great way to announce the new 27 First Alert Defender, the most power and most advanced doppler radar in Kentucky.

There are still a few finishing touches that have to be made before the dual-polarity radar will be in full operation.

Meteorologist Lauren Raymer has the latest on the progress.

The radar will be up and running in September.
