Coach, football player help police catch theft suspect

He tried to run, by a theft suspect didn't get away, thanks to an alert coach and a football player.

Police say 19-year-old Robert Wilbur has been stealing things from locker rooms, and possibly cars, on the Georgetown College campus.

Police say he was doing the same thing again Friday morning, when a coach spotted him.

Wilbur ran off. Officials say a football player and some campus security officials saw what was happening, and chased after Wilbur.

The football player caught up to Wilbur, and was able to hold him down until police arrived.

Wilbur was arrested and is facing theft charges.

Police think he may be connected to some recent car break-ins on the Georgetown College campus as well.
