A worker at a state park was tied up and robbed early Monday morning.

It happened at Natural Bridge State Park in Slade. That's in Powell County.

Police say two men pulled guns on the night attendant and tied and taped him up. Police say one of the suspects had a ski mask on. The other had a bag over his head.

Investigators say the worker was tied for about an hour and a half before three guests at the Hemlock Lodge found him.

State Police detectives are investigating.

The worker was not seriously hurt.

I agree with Renee - if you talked about the drug problems and crime two blocks north of Main Street in Lexington, it's a socioeconomic issue due to lack of opportunity, education, etc. In E. Ky, however, apparently ppl are just jobless and drug addicted because they choose to be, not for the same reasons? Those are two of the more ignorant comments I've seen on this site. And if you'd like me to define ignorant for the two of you, I'd be glad to do so. I highly doubt you truly understand the meaning of the word.

To Hatchet and Hiker. Just wanted to say that it is narrow minded people such as yourselves who are always stereotyping people and never turning your judgemental eyes upon yourselves. I'm sure there are just as many drug addicts and idiots where you come from. Yourselves, maybe? People such as you are what is wrong with this country today. Keep your snide comments to yourselves.
