Wintry Mix Causes Travel Troubles

Video will be available shortly

A wintry mix is expected to cause travel troubles around the state Wednesday morning. A blast of cold air moved into the region Tuesday night. Lingering rain ended as frozen precipitation.
North of Lexington roads are extremely slick. Ice has already glazed over roads, trees and power lines in Grant County.
Most main roads in the Lexington were in decent shape Tuesday night, but side roads were becoming slick.
Road crews are out across all of Central, Northern and Eastern Kentucky. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is asking for all drivers to use caution.
Some schools have already closed due to the slick roads. Click on the SnoGo link below for a complete list of closings.
We also have a link for road conditions around the state.
