Underground Ink moves location from South Limestone to South Broadway blaming road construction for slow down in foot traffic.

The tattoo business had been on South Limestone for 11 years but the workers say they couldn't wait for the construction process to be over 10 months from now.

The tattoo artists say they watched business drop by more than 50% in less than two months of construction and say the move was strictly business.

Another business in a similar location, The Pita Pit, says at first the construction did keep a few customers away but when the students came back to campus so did the business.

Underground Ink says they've already seen business begin to pick back up at the new location.
