Bands of heavy snow are now working through Central Kentucky. By the time this system ends on Thursday some areas will pick up more than 1 foot of snow.
Volunteer firefighters in Owen county are mourning the loss of one of their own. Terry Sharon, 60, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a trailer while returning from a call for help. He was just 100 feet from the fire house when it happened. Firefighters believe he may have had a heart attack and that's what caused the accident. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy will be done to determine exactly what killed Sharon. Those results could be back Monday.
