Shooting Suspect In Court

The man who police say fired gunshots outside a Lexington gas station will appear in court Monday.

Investigators are still looking into why the suspect would have fired the shots.

Police tell 27 NEWSFIRST 19-year old Roderick Hill may have been trying to defend his sister during last week's incident.

Hill is accused of firing three shots into the side of a Solid Waste Management truck at the Marathon Gas Station on Trent Boulevard.

Investigators say Hill's sister told her brother the city workers were harassing her and she felt threatened.

Hill faces charges of wanton endangerment, criminal mischief, tampering with physical evidence and receiving stolen property.

We'll bring you the latest in this case on 27 NEWSFIRST at five.
