A man charged with killing his girlfriend pleads not guilty.
Bass Webb was arraigned for murder this morning in Harrison County.
Investigators say he killed Bryia Runiewicz at her home in July.
Her family members were in the courtroom this morning during the proceedings. Her sister, Dee Dee Wilson, says sitting in the same room with Webb is the hardest thing she's had to do.
"It hurts. It Hurts. I've got to keep my strength up so the kids and everybody else out there can see that justice will work in the end."
He's also charged with attempted murder in Bourbon County, police say he tried to run over two jail employees the same day.
During a hearing for that case last month, Webb spit on the judge.
He had to wear a mask, for the next hearing.
