For the second day in a row, a Frankfort company has announced layoffs. Tuesday, Topy Corporation, a manufacturer of steel and aluminum wheels for the automotive industry, announced plans to close part of its operations later this year.

This affects those who work in the aluminum wheel section. About 250 of the 600 workers will be affected by the closure. Yesterday, the Bendix Spicer Foundation announced plans to close its Frankfort plant and move production to Mexico. More than 100 workers will lose their jobs.

If you are being affected by this closing let us know.
