Former UK star in court on scam charges

A former UK basketball player accused of scamming fans out of thousands of dollars, pleads not guilty.

Derrick Miller was arraigned on theft by deception charges in Clark County today.

He also faces the same charge in Fayette County.

Police say Miller sold the promise of UK basketball season tickets, that he did not have.

Former UK player Ed Davender was also arrested for a ticket scam, earlier this month.

UK athletics director Mitch Barnhart says these cases should serve as a warning, for fans.

Barnhart says he does feel bad for fans who claim Davender or Miller scammed them.
