Barn Fire Leaves More Than A Dozen Animals Dead

Print

An overnight barn fire in Franklin County leaves more than a dozen farm animals dead.

Firefighters spent several hours battling the flames at the farm on Evergreen Road. After the smoke had cleared, fire crews found the bodies of ten goats and several chickens.

The property owner says his children's ATV's were destroyed in the fire.

There's no word on a cause, but fire officials say it does not appear to be suspicious.
