Controversy in McCreary County Sheriff's Race

Video will be available shortly

A squabble at a southern Kentucky sheriff's office, where two men are vying for the badge.

Both ran for McCreary County Sheriff last November.

Randy Waters says he won it in the election, but Gus Skinner says he was written into office.

Waters has been sheriff since the November election.

But a judge overturned the results this week, after ruling that write-in votes listing only a candidate's first name should have been counted.

The judge says the McCreary County Board of Elections should have counted an additional 57 votes for Skinner, who was a write-in candidate.

Gus Skinner was sworn into office Tuesday afternoon, but Randy Waters says he'll appeal the decision.
