The unseasonably cool and wet summer season has brought a booming apple crop to Evan's Orchard.

While farmers have had to irrigate due to dry conditions during past summer seasons, that has not been an obstacle this year.

Kevan Evans, Owner of Evans Orchard, says, "Yield and production-wise, it has been great. I'd like to see it get into the 40's at night because you really need cold nights to bring out the color on the apples."

Evans Orchard will be holding festivites every weekend through Halloween. They are open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m.- 6 p.m. and Sundays fro noon to 6 p.m.
