Video will be available shortly

A substitute teacher in Central Kentucky is out of a job after police arrested him during a drug bust.

Peter Overstreet used to fill in at Franklin County High School.
Tuesday night, Lexington Police arrested him on drug charges at the Bryan Station Inn on New Circle Road.

Overstreet claims he was helping a friend move when police showed up. He says he didn't know drugs were in the room.

The Franklin County School System says Overstreet was a substitute teacher in the district, and that he did pass a background check. They also say that after his arrest, he will no longer be used as a substitute.

Overstreet will return to court next week.
