After being shut down for most of the day, Northbound I-75 in Scott County has now reopened following a fuel spill earlier in the day.
The northbound lanes of Interstate 75 have now reopened after being shutdown at mile marker 141 for most of the day due to a fuel spill.
Officials say the spill is the result of a crash Sunday morning. A car hit a semi and the semi got caught on a guardrail. When crews tried to remove the semi, its gas tank ruptured, spilling fuel all over the northbound lanes.
The northbound lanes have now reopened.
