Early Friday, a family escaped a mobile home fire in Anderson County. The fire happened on Dry Dock Road. Two parents and three children were able to get out of the burning trailer unharmed. Their home is destroyed.
The family is staying with the grandparents who live just down the road. Dry Dock Road Is right off highway 44. Crews had to use water from a nearby creek to fight the fire. The cause is under investigation.
