The man accused of attacking an officer went before a judge today.
Michael Ray Williams is charged with second-degree assault, fleeing and evading, and resisting arrest.
Lexington Police also believe Williams took part in a robbery.
Today, Williams plead not guilty, his bond was set at $10,300 dollars.
Police say last night, an officer tried to talk with Williams at 5th and Smith Streets.
Police say Williams took off and the officer chased after him.
The two got into a struggle over the officer's taser, and the officer ended up with injuries.
That officer was treated and released from UK hospital.
