One Injured After Car Slams into Building

Video will be available shortly

An 85 year old woman slams her car into the side of a concrete building, but she's able to walk away.

It happened Saturday morning at Applebee's Park in Lexington.

Police say Doris Lake was turning onto North Broadway when her foot got stuck on the gas pedal. Her car then flew across the street, hit the curb, went airborne, and rammed into the side of a storage building.

Lake was taken to the UK Medical Center, where she was in fair condition Saturday night.

The impact of the crash damaged a wall of the building.
