Our winter storm is shattering records. 17.1" of snow fell in Lexington and that's the most ever recorded during a two day snowstorm. We've had 32.1" of snow in the last 17 days.
Lexington police responded to another reported case of a panther sighting Wednesday night. Police and Animal Control responded to the report of a panther on Costigan Dr., however, officers found nothing.
They say the sighting was most likely a large house cat. Police have been flooded with questions this month about the possibility of such and animal in the Winburn neighborhood. Kentucky Fish and Wildlife workers say it's highly unlikely.
