Unlikely suspect charged in store robbery, guard beating

Police arrest a woman they say became violent when confronted by a store security guard.

62 year old Noretta Moss was picked up outside the Belks store in Richmond.

According to a police report, a security guard followed Moss out of the store after he saw her take more than $500 in clothing.

When confronted, the report says Moss used her car keys to stab the security guard in the arm, and hit him in the face.

Store employees came out and held Moss until police arrived.

She's now charged with 1st degree robbery.
