Print

Police say a woman in a hurry this morning in northern Kentucky caused a deadly accident.

Two buses, an SUV and a tragic accident. Police say the woman driving the SUV was attempting to pass two school buses this morning on Kentucky 8 in Campbell County.

Police think the woman clipped the front of one of the buses, spun out of control and hit a utility pole. An adult and two children were in the car.

Police say one child suffered serious injuries. Paramedics worked on that child in one of the school buses before he was taken to a hospital. Another child, just four-years-old died at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

No students on either bus were injured.

About 5,000 people lost power this morning as a result of the accident and the road was shut down for several hours.

Police identified the child who died as Ayden Cooper. His brother, 6-year-old Dylan Cooper, was injured in the crash.
