Family of man killed by tree gets help from unlikely source

A grieving Boyle County family is getting some help from an unlikely source--a local salon.

Tamica Barnett's fiance Anthony Woodard died this summer after a violent accident. The man was cutting down a tree when it fell on him, crushing and killing him.Woodard left behind his fiancee and their three children.

To help out the family Jennifer's Salon located on E. Lexington Road is having a cut-a-thon. From 9:00 am. to 1:00 p.m on Saturday the salon will offer dry haircuts for donations. All of the proceeds will go to help Tamica and her children.
