Kendall Baber says he's not sure if his three year old dog, a Great Pyrenees named Titus is going to pull through after being burned badly with grease.

Baber says he came home on Friday to discover his dog in pain. A closer look showed burns to the flesh over the dogs back.

He says he's been treating the wounds with a medicine called wound coat, but isn't noticing any improvement.

Since the attack Titus's spirit has been broken Baber says. He plans to take the dog to the vet on Friday.

The Estill County Sheriff's Department is investigating and Baber says they told him it was a felony offense.

Baber says he has a theory as to who may have hurt his dog but at this time he doesn't have the proof.
