Lexington Police arrested a man wanted for last month's shooting at the Shell station on New Circle, at North Broadway.
Police arrested 23-year old William Thornton Friday morning for the murder. Police say Thornton shot and killed 19-year old Michael Hanley outside the gas station on September 13th after a disagreement between two groups. Hanley was shot several times near a gas pump. He collapsed inside the store and died at UK Hospital.
Lexington Police have been looking for Thornton for the past two weeks. They reportedly found him at a home on Osage Court. He's now charged with one count of murder.
