Lexington Police arrest three people after they say they shoplifted from Aeropostale, The Children's Place, Gap Kids, Gymboree, and Carters Babies and Kids at Hamburg Pavilion.
49-year-old Dwayne Johnson and 19-year-old Whitney Johnson, who are reported to be family, and 44-year-old Patricia Mack were arrested Thursday evening after associates notified authorities.
Police say the trio hit up the five stores stealing more than $1,400 from Gap Kids, and more than $400 combined from the other four stores.
It appears they were going for children's clothing and items.
Sales associates watching the three say when police arrived they found the trio's rental car full of the shoplifted items and then arrested the three.
Police are now sending their photos around to other shops at Hamburg Pavilion to determine if they are responsible for any other shoplifting crimes.
Dwayne Johnson, Whitney Johnson, and Patricia Mack each face four misdemeanor counts and one felony county of receiving stolen property.
They appeared before a judge this afternoon they they pleaded "not guilty". Dwayne Johnson and Patricia Mack remain in the Fayette County Detention Center. Whitney Johnson has bonded out of jail. All three are due back in court next week.
