LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Authorities have identified a 41-year-old
Louisville woman who died after contracting the swine flu.
Sheila Brooks died at University of Louisville Hospital's
emergency room on Sept. 21.
Eddie Robinson, a deputy coroner for Jefferson County, says an
autopsy was performed on Sept. 22 and test results confirmed the
death was caused by the H1N1 virus, also known as swine flu.
The Courier-Journal reports that health department officials
said the victim in this case had no underlying health conditions.
Brooks is the second person in Kentucky to die from
complications from swine flu.
