Southern Kentucky meth lab busts

A busy night for police in Southern Kentucky, after making two meth lab busts in just two hours.

It all started while State Police were serving a warrant at a home in the Cornett subdivision of Laurel County.

That's where they found two active meth labs.

A neighbor was outside and watched the whole bust happen.

State Police arrested seven people at the scene.

Four of them face charges for making meth.

The other three were arrested on other charges.

Just two hours later, State Police uncovered a meth lab in another part of the county.

A tip led officers to a home on US 25 South in Lily.

State Police say after noticing a strong odor at the scene, they found an active meth lab.

36-year-old James Cawood of London was arrested, and faces a number of drug charges.
