It's called Sex Week and it's going on at the University of Kentucky Now a conservative pro-family group is speaking out against the event.

A website for Sex Week at UK says it's designed to increase sexual awareness and literacy.

There are several related events this week as part of the program.

But the family foundation said in a release that Sex Week is sponsored by a group that considers handcuffs and whips bedroom accessories.

They're upset with the event's message.

Sex Week continues at UK through Sunday.
