Woman hit by truck in parking lot dies
Investigators say rainy weather may have played a role in an accident that killed a woman in Knox County.

Investigators say rainy weather may have played a role in an accident that killed a woman.
The Knox County Sheriff says Patricia Powell, 50, was hit by a pickup truck while trying to cross a parking lot at Union City Plaza Shopping Center in Barbourville Tuesday.
Powell later died at U.K. Hospital.
Investigators say poor lighting and the rain made it difficult for the driver to see Powell.
