Showers and thunderstorms will begin to develop this afternoon and evening. Some of these could be strong or severe into the nighttime hours.
Storms moved through the Bluegrass early Friday morning leaving behind some damage.
In Lexington, trees blew down at East High Street and Ashland Avenue as well as on Parkers Mill Road, near Airport Road.
Morning drivers also ran into tree limbs littering roadways in the area.
