The Lexington Herald-Leader reported that Judge Tom Clark on
Friday ordered former state Rep. Steve Nunn returned to Fayette
County from the Kentucky Correctional Psychiatric Center in La
Grange. Nunn had been moved to the center for a 30-day exam.
Nunn is accused of fatally shooting Amanda Ross on Sept. 11
outside her Lexington home. He has pleaded not guilty.

Nunn's return, saying without an indictment, no one can evaluate
whether Nunn is criminally responsible for a crime.
A judge last month granted a request for the examination by
Nunn's attorney, Astrida Lemkins.
