A man is rushed to the hospital, after being shot outside a Lexington gas station.
It happened at a Marathon, on Centre Parkway, around four, Sunday afternoon.
One witness said he saw two men fighting inside the gas station before the shooting occurred.
"One had a Corona bottle and the other one knocked it out of his hand," said Kevin Tackett, who had gone to the gas station to fill his lawn mower, "I head like two gunshots real close together, and saw the guy he was shot in the chest and I think in the elbow."
Police say the victim was shot once in the chest, and once in the arm. After being shot, the victim drove to a police roll call center near the gas station. He was taken by ambulance to UK Hospital.
The victim's name and condition have not been released.
The suspect is described as a black male with a thin build, 5 ft. 8 in. to 5 ft. 11 in. tall, wearing a tan coat with a fur-lined hood, and possibly wearing prescription glasses.
