Police On Alert After Threat At High School

Police in southern Kentucky are on high alert after a threat found written in a high school bathroom.

Corbin police say officials at Corbin High School found the threat, written in pencil in a girl's bathroom, on Tuesday. Police say whoever wrote the note threatened to bomb the building and shoot people inside.

Police were on campus this morning in response to that threat. Police searched every student and used K-nine units to search lockers. They didn't find anything suspicious.

Police say they'll have increased security after school on Friday and at Friday night's basketball tournament games.
