Dozens of Fayette County Health Department workers got their H1N1 vaccinations Friday. The health department also lauched its flu information website.
The site features city-wide vaccination clinic schedules, answers to frequently asked questions, and other vital information.
Health department officials hope the high tech information center will make everyone more informed and safer this flu season. The web address is www.lexflucrew.com.
Also, today dozens of employees were among the first in the county to receive the vaccination in shot form--previous to today only the flu mist was available.
Now that employees have been served, Fayette County citizens are next in line. The shots will be made available to the public beginning November 7th. Below is a complete listing of upcoming flu vaccination clinics.
