A former Fayette County teacher, who admitted to sexually abusing a student, may take back her guilty plea.
Roberta Blackwell Walter, pleaded guilty Friday, to raping and molesting Carol Lynne Maner, more than 30 years ago.
The Herald-Leader reports, a judge decided Walter should serve jail time, rather than probation, as the prosecution suggested.
Walter's lawyer asked she be given time to reconsider her guilty plea.
The judge approved that request.
Another hearing is set for October 30th.
