Madison County fighting H1N1 in schools

One county has decided to take its fight against the H1N1 virus into the schools.

Madison County's health department will give H1N1 shots to students in the Madison County and Berea Independent School Systems, starting next month.

Parents should get a packet of information home this week.

It will include a permission slip parents will have to sign if they want their child to get the shot.

There will be a separate Saturday clinic for parents who want to be with their children or those that want the nasal vaccine.

The shots are not required.
