General showers will be the main action over the next few hours. A few could remain on the strong to severe side in eastern parts of Kentucky.
The ‘Moo Crew’ on 98.1, The Bull is used to being the talk of the town.
Just like their listeners , Moo Crew host, Deann Stephens, was stunned when her co-host was hit with child pornography charges.
Stephen’s voice is familiar to thousands of country music fans who tune into 98.1 The Bull every morning. And many television viewers remember DeAnn Stephens from her reporting days at WKYT and WYMT in Hazard.
Her radio job has delivered some perks, meeting everyone from Coach Calapari, to some of the biggest stars in Hollywood, and country music superstars. But this past week, events involving her former radio partner, had Stephens avoiding the public spotlight.
Her former radio partner, Dusty Dan, now no longer with the station, was arrested and charged with having child pornography.
Arrest records state Roy Baldridge, his real name, had 500 images of child porn and erotica in his home.
Radio station management didn't go far for a temporary replacement for Stephens' radio partner. Officer Don already does traffic reports on radio, and for WKYT.
Officer Don is a temporary replacement for the next six weeks or so, the radio station is conducting a national search for a permanent, on-air partner for Stephens.
