Man Gets Away After High Speed Chase

Police in Boyle County are searching for a person who led them on a high speed chase.

Police say they tried to stop a car for speeding late last night, but the driver sped off.

Police chased the car for a while. They say at one point the driver was going 80 mph in a 25 mile per hour zone.

The driver eventually stopped and ran away from police on foot.

When the driver is caught, he'll be charged with fleeing and evading and reckless endangerment, among other charges.
