CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A company that makes specialized rifles for big-game hunting plans to move its manufacturing operations from Bedford, Kentucky, to Glenrock, Wyoming.
Glenrock officials held a lease-signing ceremony yesterday (Wednesday) to welcome the A-Square Company.
Art Alphin is founder of the company. He says local operations could begin as soon as May.
Alphin says that within 18 months of the start of operations, he would like to have up to 23 workers on the job. He says the company will be hiring for such positions as machinists and stockmakers and said some positions will be entry-level.
A-Square makes rifles with names such as the Hannibal, the Hamlicar and the Ghengis Khan in 53 different calibers.
