Police Arrest Man's Girlfriend After Stabbing *UPDATED

Victoria Searcy was arraigned at Franklin District Court today, where a not guilty plea was entered on her behalf. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for March 27th at 1 pm.

She remains lodged in the Franklin Co. Detention Center on ten thousand dollar full cash bond.

ORIGINAL STORY

A Central Kentucky man was air lifted to UK hospital after police say he was stabbed inside his own home.

It happened Saturday afternoon on Bald Knob Rd., just outside of Frankfort. When police arrived at the scene they found Lewis Hensley stabbed.

Officials say Hensley's injuries may be life threatening. Police later arrested his girlfriend, Victoria Searcy. They say she stabbed Hensley during a fight. Searcy is charged with first degree assault.
