A Central Kentucky grand jury indicts a mother for using drugs during her pregnancy.
The Franklin County grand jury indicted 22-year old Samantha Johnson on two counts each of wanton endangerment and possession of a controlled substance. Each count is for each of her sons.
Court documents obtained by 27 NEWSFIRST from Franklin County, state that Johnson used drugs while she was pregnant in both 2007 and 2009. Frankfort Police say Johnson's children were born with drug dependency problems.
All four charges are felonies. She's in the Franklin County Jail on a $10,000 full cash bond.
Betty Frick says she spoke to Johnson just days before the arrest, and Frick says Johnson was trying to change her life.
