Suspect Attempts To Rob Lexington Restaurant

Lexington police are investigating an attempted armed robbery at the Penn Station restaurant on North Broadway.

Police say a man wearing a black ski mask and dark clothing walked into the restaurant with a gun and demanded money.

It happened about 10:00 Monday night.

Police say no one was injured during the incident. They tell us the employees at the Penn Station fled the scene during the robbery. We're told the robber fled the scene on foot and didn't get any money.

Police are still looking for the suspect.
