Pumpkins put to the test this year

It's the time of year pumpkins are used for pies and decorations, but this year, farmers all around the country are having a tough time with their crops.

Pumpkins have been put to the test this year more-so that in recent memory.

That goes for pumpkin patches all across the nation not just here in the bluegrass where so much rain in north texas for example has meant the loss of nearly 3000 pumpkins.

Folks at Bi-water Farms say this is the wettest fall that they can remember.

The wet weather has taken its toll on many pumpkins.

So, as a result, when picking the perfect pumpkin this week, make sure to look at the bottom!
