Attempted Robbery Yields No Lettuce

A Lexington sandwich shop is dealing with an attempted robbery for the second time in a matter of hours.

Just after six Tuesday morning, an armed man tried to rob a Penn Station employee, standing outside the North Broadway location.
Police say the worker was there early to receive a shipment.

The same store had an attempted robbery Monday night.
An armed man tried to rob the shop, but employees ran out of the store.

In both cases, police say the robber was wearing a black ski mask and dark clothing.
