Drunken Man Attempts to Enter "Wrong House"A Lexington man, who police say was drunk, got a big surprise this morning.
Police say the man tried to get into a house on Leawood Drive in the Lansdowne neighborhood.
According to police, he thought it was his home, but it turned out to be the home of a Lexington police officer.
The officer detained the man until other officers arrived.
The man is charged with criminal trespassing and alcohol intoxication.
He told police he was not trying to rob the home, he simply thought he lived there.
