President Clinton Visits Central Kentucky

A former president makes a visit to the bluegrass.

Former President Bill Clinton spent Wednesday afternoon in Lexington to help his wife, Senator Hillary Clinton, raise money for her campaign in the 2008 presidential election.

Clinton appeared at a private, lunchtime fundraiser at the home of Kentucky Democratic party chairman Jerry Lundergan.

Lundergan says he hosted the luncheon as a favor for Hillary Clinton, who helped Kentucky democrats raise money last year.

Clinton, who carried Kentucky in both of his presidential races, also appeared in Ohio on Wednesday to help with his wife's campaign.
