Employees Locked In Freezer During Robbery
A scary experience for some South Lexington restaurant employees Wednesday night when an armed robber locked them in a freezer and took off with cash.
The man held up the KFC in the Tates Creek Centre around 10:00pm.
Police tell 27 NEWSFIRST the robber was wearing a blue jumpsuit and a "Scream" mask.
No employees were hurt in the hold up.
Police would not confirm, but the suspect matches the description of a serial robber who has hit at least five Lexington fast food restaurants in the last two years.
