Woman Charged With Early Morning Stabbing

A Lexington woman is behind bars, charged with assault after a stabbing early Thursday morning.

Patricia Murphy was arrested early in connection with a stabbing on Balfour Drive. That's just off Winburn Drive.

She's charged with first degree assault.

Police found the victim who was driving around. 55-year-old Robert Hill had been stabbed multiple times. He was taken to UK Hopsital.

Police say Murphy was Hill's girlfriend.
