Flu Cases On The Rise In Central Kentucky

The weather may be getting warmer, but health officials are reporting an increase in people coming down with the flu.

The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department have seen 21 new cases of influenza in the last week alone.

They say anyone who is experiencing a fever with muscle aches and sore throat or a headache should drink fluids and get plenty of rest.

They also say flu shots are still available for 20 dollars to anyone who needs one.
